I NEED SLEEP!

For the past ten days I've had trouble switching off, there's nothing on my mind I just can't sleep if I

Totalled the hours of sleep I had in the past ten days if say it's about 12 it's a joke as a mum I need

To be alert but I'm just so tired! I've tried herbal remedies over the counter stuff and nothing's

Working my doctor won't prescribe any thing either HELP PLEASE X

    Have you had a history of this?

    There must be something different that's happening in your life? Cause and effect always operates.

    Any anxiety, drinking caffeine or artificial sweeteners past midday? Watching intense tv programs at night?

    Stressed about something like family, bills, partner?

    Im sorry to hear that you are not able to fall asleep.. if this repeats consistently for more than 4 weeks, then i suggest you to go n see a specialist.. I have been having problems falling asleep for the last 8 years.. n wen i seek help from the doctors, they think its a joke... just because i look energetic and happy, they think im kidding.. its has become a serious issue and i am trying to seek professional help.. its also started affecting my academics and my social life... Mine looks more like an anxiety issue.. so cant jump to a conclusion..

    I agree that one of the things you should be looking into is finding a specialist that might be able to help you. Secondly, I have a hard time sleeping and I have found that relaxation exercises work best for me. In my own experiences I would fight most of the natural remedies if I was too stressed and this is the only way for me to get my body to unwind. This includes a variety of different breathing exercises that are designed to bring you in tune with yourself.
