i need some answers

Sorry if I shouldnt be here posting but im trying to eliminate everything.

Ive had problems with my stomach for about 4 years now. Drs have said they think its IBS. I have had a horrible flare up of something for the past 6 weeks. With Diarreah mainly in the mornings with bad stomach cramps and wind. When i have emptied my bowels im usually semi ok.

but this just will NOT go away. I'm off work, my life is severly comprimised. I dont want to go out, im in pain and uncomfortable.

I had a endoscopy and colonoscopy a week ago, they came back clear. All my abdo bloods and my poo tests have come back normal too. But im losing weight because im consuming around 600 calories a day. I had a HIDA scan done 34 yrs ago and that was normal (then) too. But my poo is a yellow colour instead of brown. its always a mustard yellow colour.

Sometimes i get indigestion after eating something too heavy. I have acid reflux too from the hiatus hernia.

I personally think I have a problem with my gall bladder but none of the dr seem to think so because im not having the familiar "gall bladder" attacks.

I just know this is making me very depressed, i have no life. Can anyone shed some light for me please?

TIA

Your poo is yellow because you're producing excess bile.  IBS-D is a catch-all diagnosis given by doctors when patients have persistent diarrhea, and they can't be bothered to find out what's going on.

You could be having gallbladder problems, such as gallstones.  Lots of people don't present with the "classic" symptoms GP's like to see.  You could also have bile salt malabsorption.  The body produces a hormone that allows the bile to e absorbed at the end of the digestive process.  Sometimes people stop producing it for unknown reasons.

If you're seeing GP's get yourself to a gastroenterologist!  Your poo tests are coming back normal because they're only testing the poo, not the bile around it.  You need an ultrasound of your gallbladder to check for the thickness of its walls and whether or not you have gallstones.  If no gallstones are visible, you might need further tests.  xx

Remove gallbladder. They told me that for 5 years my doctors said gallbladdersfine and 1 took it out it wasn't it was very bad.

Check your pancreas They can do a scan just make sure I have no tumors on it . I BE means they dont know what you.

Maybe you have Crohns Disease. That means your intestines are always inflamed .I would check my pancreas .

I don’t have chrons. I’ve had tests. I’m really scared it’s my pancreas. But the dr said because I have no red flags to suggest anything there they arnt looking. But I am going to insist on having that AND my gb looked at. I constantly check the whites of my eyes.

It doesn't work that way when you have Juandice It's usually in the later stages I truthfully don't think it's your pancreas because you will have pain on the left sides of your abdomen .Is probably Your gallbladder It's probably 99% of your gallbladder .If it's your pancreas you will be in so much pain you will even be able to move for days and you'd be throwing up and having a fever non stop .Do you drink alcohol a lot

I have cramps mostly in lower part of my stomach when I need to empty my bowels. I get heartburn and occasionally indigestion. No excruciating pain. Certainly no vomiting fever or pain in side.

You might have pancreatitis inflammation of the pancreas it causes although symptoms no fatty foods no eating out remove the call bladder if you haven't already and things should get better but you have to be on a low fat diet the rest your life

I was under a gastroenterologist for two years. He discharged me last year saying it was ibs. I’ve been reading up on gall bladder problems. I have most of the symptoms except the excruciating painful attacks. I just get stomach cramps and some indigestion with heartburn too. But my poo is lighter than the normal brown and I cannot get it formed unless I take Imodium. Im getting referred again to a different Gastro dr. Im going to insist on another hida Evan and an abdo scan too. My bloods have all been totally normal. Especially my ALT  and my bilirubin. And amylase too. I’m just not A typical gall bladder patient. But I’m throwing out some symptoms.

I did 2 hida scans are normal. But after they removed my gallbladder they said it was bad.

      Does your stool float.

      I thinks it's your gallbladder.

My poo is yellowish and floats and also contains mucus.  I can go to the loo (diarreah) up to 15 times a day, usually after eating.  I had a SNS (Sacral nerve stimulator) put in about 11 years ago as my Sphincter was not working and I kept leaking so now I also have this new problem, it is a nightmare trying to lead a normal life.  I have been diagnosed with bile salt mal absorption.  I also have a hiatus hernia and problems with my osoephegus, which closes up when I eat sometimes and I start to choke or I have to put my fingers down my throat to remove the food!  I have been given tablets to take - 6 a day - all at the same time - they are a high dosage of a cholesterol drug which is meant to help with the diarreah!.  Well 6 tablets made me ill, I was leaking poo and also bleeding.  My nurse told me to drop to 3 tablets which I have done but things are still not right.  I have a continuous pain in my right side which they think may be gall stones so I am now waiting to have an ultrasound to see what is going on.

No chance if Kim is in the UK. I was reading my hospital facebook page today and somebody had posted they went with severe gastric pain. Everyone was asking what the outcome was and the reply was they think gallstones. Everybody then asked if he had a scan and the answer..............drum roll....................... Nope they sent him home! Total pathetic waste of time system of a health service! Still at least the gave him an idea! Poor fella!
