I need some answers! Help!

So, about three years ago I started hearing music in my head. It sounded like a radio changing stations including static. It was bad enough that I couldn't sleep at night because the noise kept me awake. Around the same time my gums started bleeding a lot and I started losing energy. I was 21 and started going to sleep at 7pm waking at 8am and still having to take naps during the day because I was, and still am, so tired all of the time. Also having horrible headaches. To the point that I honestly thought my eyes were going to explode. I went to my family doctor and no blood tests were done, but he did an mri and noticed significant swelling but never referred me to a specialist. Today I am still having the same symptoms but without the sounds in my head thankfully. But recently I have some new symptoms. I am getting bruises, with a strange purplish red rash on top everywhere and no clue why. I haven't fallen, I have no reason to have bruising or rash. And my vision is getting awful, to the point that I have almost wrecked my car because everything went white. So my question is, what could be causing all of these symptoms? And what should I do? I'm 24 years young and take vitamins and eat healthy!

Sounds like an autoimmune condition. I am currently trying to get a diagnosis. You need to see a rheumatologist. Could be lupus, Sjogrens, or fibromyalgia. Hope you get an affirmation. Keep us posted.

Hi kayla.. 'woe' your symptoms could be any number of things..    I would be definately return to your GP for further investigation, starting with some blood work..    Im astonished  that you were not referred on after your MRI showed 'significant' swelling..   Make an appointment asap kayla..   rolleyes

Sounds like it's time to go back in to your doctor & ask for a yearly physical. All types of testing should continue until resolution and treatment is diagnosed. Sounds like your ready to feel better. Sometimes we need to keep pushing until we get answers.

    Peace & Heeling.

    Hi Kayla,

I have cfs/me and the tiredness is huge part of that but, my suggestion here is get back to the doctor and ask for blood tests and ask what the swelling meant? Ask for vit d tests too as not always given routinely and causes the extreme tiredness.

    Hope you get answers soon

I went to my doctor. He says I need to see a specialist and possibly have surgery to remove the infection in my skull. He said it is Acute Pan Sinusitis and they will more than likely need to scrape the infection out. If I don't feel better after that, he will do blood work to rule out anything worse like cancer that could be causing my problems. Thank you everyone for your help :-)
