I need some help!

Finally after getting my BV treated I haven't had it come back I'm happy about that! I still get moist down there which I know is natural unlike how it is with BV. So I have two problems I am dealing with. One is why does my skin look ashy around my my vagina. it looks terrible when I don't shave because the color contrast is very visible. I have stopped shaving because I get way to many razor bumps. This skin discoloration is just making me uncomfortable I've tried Sheabutter , organic coconut oil, and tea tree oil but nothing is working! My second problem is the smell even though I've been treated and my BV went away its like the smell still lingers a bit especially since I don't shave. Maybe it might being from sweating or something idk but I don't like it . I went to the OBGYN to make sure everything was good and it was. So idk I'm at my wits end I make sure I wear loose and breathable panties and no tight clothes and things of that nature. I included a picture because I really don't know how to explain what it is.image

it's great to hear that you had your BV sorted (gives hope to the rest of us)... congrats!

I don't have particular knowledge of the problems you face now, but will suggest trying nappy rash cream. When I have had sore skin from chafing, it's done wonders for me, maybe it will help with ashy skin. I wouldn't worry too much about that though, it's only aesthetics, a lot of us have discolouration in that area.

thank you so much I was losing my mind I've been dealing with this for a long time after BV. And thank you it took me taking out my birth control to stop the BV and instead of taking the pills which would cause me to get yeast infection I opted for the gel medication. And since I got my Birth control removed I've haven't had BV again.
