Willpower - determination - and - never to take another puff....one ciggy and you are hooked again...they reckon it's worse than heroin to come off nicotine.......keep off them and count each day as a bonus for life.....I tried all the usual quit smoking tabs- gums - patches......Willpower is all you need....Cheers.

I couldn't agree with you more . Simply put it's the hardest thing I've ever done . I quit using the patch and the inspiration of having a new addition to the family. In about 4 weeks I was cutting the patch in half and soon after using about a quarter of it. Well that new addition to the family just gat her driver license and I have not touched a cigarette although at times I get this empty feeling and realize I want a quick smoke. Can honestly say, it was the most difficult addiction to stop but oh so worth it.

Well done Denny and I hope the arrival of the new addition goes well - this will be the ultimate test but have strength and resist temptation no matter what - if you give in you will regret it and blame yourself endlessly....(.Iv'e been there got the "T" shirt)....I can now go about my life without lighting a bonfire in my mouth and having that disgusting burnt nicotine smell on my clothes and breath.....these are what keep me away from them......It's a great feeling especially when the Doctor ask's "Do you smoke"......your answer to this is your reward.....Best Regards.
