HI ALICIA. I AM 38 YEARS OLD AND THAT SOUNDS LIKE MY VERY FIRST MENIERES ATTACK THAT I HAD WHEN I WAS 34 YEARS OLD. I HAVE MUFFLED & REDUCED HEARING IN MY RIGHT EAR, RINGING IN MY RIGHT EAR, AND OCCASIONAL VERTIGO ATTACKS (WHICH MAKE THE ROOM SPIN, CAUSE VOMITING, SWEATING, AND COMPLETE EXHAUSTION). I HAD AN MRI THAT WAS NEGATIVE. AND ALL MY BLOOD WORK IS NORMAL.MY VERTIGO ATTACKS HAVE BECOME LESS FREQUENT, BUT IN THE BEGINNING WERE EVERY 1-2 MONTHS. I CHANGED MY DIET BY EATING HEALTHIER AND REDUCING MY SALT. I TAKE LYSINE, GINGKO BILOBA, AND OCCASIONALLY A DIURETIC. ITS A VERY DEPRESSING DISEASE, BUT HANG IN THERE! OVER TIME YOU WILL GET BETTER AND RECOGNIZE YOUR TRIGGERS.
