I "snap"my big toe against the middle one

For some reason, I "snap" my big toe against the middle one constantly. It is like I am snapping my fingers, but , I do it with my toes. I do it on both feet and I do it non stop! This causes big calluses on my big toe and to a lesser degree the middle one. Why in the heck do I do this? I don't have athletes feet or anything. Is this a nervous thing? I am sick and tired of the calluses and pain this is causing me.

Hi Dan , try putting something, maybe cotton wool in between your toes. that should also make you more conscious of what you're doing. it maybe habit more than nerves.

Try these posts that I found. I indeed have bipolar, not sure about you. I am going to talk to my doctor for sure and in the meantime I am going to start on B6 vitamins and see what happens.
