i suffer from chronic insomnia

i am taking 10 mg doxepin with 50 mg trazodone ;is it alright

    Do these drugs in the dosages you mention take care of the insomnia? As long as a doctor is supervising your drug regimen, I would think it's alright. If you are still having insomnia problems at your current dosages, you could try upping the doxepin--if your doctor approves. Or you could try a supplement like Valerian root, or an herbal over-the-counter sleep aid.

      My doctor told me the target dosage for his CFS/ME patients is 40 mg. I was only able to take 37 1/2, believe it or not. If you're sensitive to it like I am, go up very slowly. I did this by opening the capsule and emptying out some of the powder. I would keep the dosage at the same level for 3 to 5 days, then go up. Of course, you take all your meds at bedtime, right? By the way, I'm in Los Angeles and it's 10:50 pm here. I guess you're in India? Our time zones must be in sync. I think the UK is sleeping right now (they're 8 hours ahead of us in the U.S.
