I suffer with anxiety and deprssion

Hi i am on 100mg of sertraline 120mg of propronalol but i cant seem to sleep is there any suggestion what a could do to help with this plz x

    How long have you been taking the Sertraline? I find it gives me insomnia too so I have been trying to take it earlier in the day.

    Ask your doctor to prescribe you some phenerghan ..it's an anti histamine and won't leave you drowsy the next day

    Hi Dianne, how long have you been on Sertraline and what time do you take your tablet? 

    I used to suffer terrible with sleep anxiety however 1 week into taking this drug I’ve not had it for over 18months.

    If you take it at night I would try and swap to the morning. I found that mindfulness also helped and I used the headspace app alot.  A good exercise is when lying in bed go back to the start of your day and try and remember every detail from getting up to that very point lying in bed ..it works a treat for me. I would be weary of taking another pill especially if you have not been on Sertraline for too long trouble sleeping can be a sign of anxiety it was for me and maybe once the Sertraline kicks in then you may start sleeping better. I hope things get better for you soon x
