I tested negative for Herpes but still have symptoms

I took a herpes test 3 weeks after I had symptoms. It come back negative, I took the igg igm and a culture swap for a bump on my lip 3 days after it appeared. My previous partner tested positive for herpes but she has no symptoms, me on the other hand I had tingling and burning sensations on my penis and lip. Itching around my mustache, a bump then formed and scabbed over on my mustache. Now I formed a rash that scabbed over on my penis. All of this happened after my first initial test. I will be going back for a second test next week. Is it possible that I tested too early on my first test?

Do all herpes sores burst then scab over? Mines didn't do that it just scabbed over in 3 days. My other sores scabbed over but didn't burst or anything. I have no bumps on penis just a rash. I guess I'll get tested again in November so it can be 4 months since my first out break.

that will b more reliable herpes does not always cause blisters it can just be a cracked sore bit of skin so it would be better to be sure it could also be other things besides herpes like bacterial or fungal skin infections mabe u would be better off seeing a doctor first before jumping to the conclusion that it is herpes

yes for blood test wait minimum 16 weeks (4 months) for it to be more reliable. preferably even longer to be more sure your body had enough time time to make antibodies
