I think I am dying of cancer

Hi i am 12 and I always think I'm dying of cancer awareness I am always tired and I feel dizzy and I also don't feel right and I have not been wanting to do what I usually do every one tells me it is aniext I have had a mri on my head and upper endoscopy they have did every test done I have been to the hospital a few times and they say I am healthy please reply

      I feel the same way... Feels like I'm dying from a deadly disease.. I don't go any where I dnt enjoy doin anything I use to do anymore. I'm 27 yrs old have a birthday coming up and it just feels like any other day. I try so hard to fight it but it's very very hard when you feel like your dying. I have anxiety and I have been goin through this for 5 months now. It's very very stressful I also feel lke it made me depressed. Every pain I feel I think the worse.

      I have had blood work done, ct scan, X-rays, and even an 48 hour heart monitor and still feel as if they are missing something.. I don't know what else to do. I have never suffered this bad from anxiety. I have had it for 7 years off and on but never this bad.

      I thought more about what you said and I was about 30 when this peaked and then I went a long period where it didnt exist.When it appeared  again I remembered that nothing ever came of those thoughts so I just dismissed  it.So what I am saying is after awhile the brain will stop seeing threat.Put in writing your med info it wil help imprint logic .It doesnt seem like a lot to help but it will surprise you.It will put the thinking brain in charge.It will give you a third person perspective.If you find yourself to sit to these situations find something to do such as shower ,walk,shave,go for haircut .

      I actually feel weak I'm not eating and I'm loosing weight but I dnt feel like I'm under any stress. Everytime I eat my heart races and my stomach starts to hurt. The Drs aren't finding anything. It's a very scary feeling to feel like this on a daily basis. When u went through this how did you feel?

      I would feel like a rush go through my body .felt weak.I would crave sugar and alcohol and so I indulged.Then I felt bad about that.I would lay awake in bed and catastrophize .So for me alcohol and drugs played a roll.Whenever I tried to stop this was waiting for me.I was self medicating.I would get sharp rib pains as well.I would physically tighten .It made it almost impossible to quit drugs.But when I started relaxation breathing and journaling,exercise,joining community volunteer, my esteem and life turned around.I would say now my life is better than when i was a child.Now I have confidence and compete in triathlon,mountainbike race.

    Hi taylor,

    My advice would be to believe the doc and your family that you're fine and healthy and there's nothing wrong with you my dear..you're at a very tender and young age dont spoil your mind by all this anxiety..trust your parents and doc that you have a long life and you will live a happy one ☺

    Im 23 and struggle with health anxiety too..docs and family says im fine..and im trying put my faith in god and trust everything will be fine..if you're religious that pray to God for good health and happy life..im sure he wont reject a sweet and young person as you..☺

    I have had these thoughts as well.Every injury or especially any pimple or boil type, cancer jumped into my head.Once I had like a pimple that didnt come out so I could feel burning and I went to doctor .Man did he ever roll his eyes .I learned not to give these thoughts power and think long to the point of obsession.I think it is very brave of you to come forward.To speak your mind is better than to keep it bottled up.People will listen to you.

    hello sweetheart as you can see you are definatley not alone in this. i am 36 and struggle so i wouldnt like to think how you manage but this group is good to help with advice and symptons. Couple of things i would suggest - i went through the eating and feeling sick loosing lots weight etc, as everytime i went to eat something i kept thinking " oh its going to make feel like rubbish" try to hange your thought pattern when you do eat think oh that looks nice im going to enjoy that, that sort of thing. also i found eating little amounts more often helped rather them main meals. If you dont eat properly it doesnt help as then you feel weak and tired and therefore worried and anxiety kicks back in (hope that makes sense).  Be rassured by your family and doctors that you are not going to die if there was something serious they would of found it - anxiety is a horrible thing and it feeds on our fears and our feelings of being scared so we have to TRY to stay positive, i try and tell mine go away i havent got time for you today and silly things like that it does help. Aslo keeping busy is good. If you are in the middle of doing something and you start to feel strange dont stop and let it take over - continue doing what your were doing and show it it is not going to stop you.
