I think I am getting tolerant to my Burst mode SCS

Has anyone else noticed this? I have had mine in now for a year and a half, it is in my lower back. I started with a non-rechargeable battery that lasted only 8 months that they blamed on me for running it too high. I have always had it high enough that in certain positions, LOL especially at Pilates in some of those contorted positions I can feel non painful stimulation. I got the rechargeable system put in last Feb. In a sidebar, I have gone into acute kidney failure 3 times now in the last year and a half and I finally figured out the culprit two weeks ago--my compounded cream to rub on my achy joints has NSAIDs in it ( Volteran). I can't take any of them, not even Alive or my kidney values go up on my lab tests. So, now my back has been bothering me and I have been slowly pushing up the SCS. I have no cream anymore until my next appointment on the 16th to get a cream sans NSAIDs. But I am at the top of the scale now on my SCS LOL.  I am buzzing as I lay here and I am wondering, am I tolerant to this thing?  I started at level 8, I am sitting at level 25 and my back hurts!  Good thing I have the Prialt trial Monday!

So, Anybody have a long term SCS or is this really just a short term sale of an expensive item to make us pain free for a couple of years and then back to square one?  Back when I was in practice we knew that the old SCS had a crappy rate of return, but these new babies are supposed to deliver for longer than this!?

I will respond to myself, isn't that sad. I have been playing with the settings, I took myself way down to 18 from 25 and sat there for 2 days during my prialt fiasco trial. I figured I was in no pain so try to reset. That didn't work, all my pain came rip roaring back, but I only set the SCS up to 20 and so far that. along with a dab of the kidney toxic cream is working. This is definite tolerance to the electrical stimulation which really doesn't bode well long term for all these SCS they are pushing on all of us in the light of the fake opioid crisis!
