I think I found something that helps!

Hi everyone,
I've been battling HS for about 20 years on and off, had operations on my back (pilonidial cyst) and one underarm, but as you know, it comes back at other places (other underarm, under breast, and now all over groin area).
I found that out of all antibiotics Keflex (Cefalexin) helps me the most, 500mg 4x day, and I always take a repeat as well.
i would also like to add that I have done laser hair removal 3 years ago, and while HS has settled down for a bit, it came back after a while.
I found that roll-ons were giving me more problem, until I tried Rexona Clinical Protection Antiperspirant cream. I took a while, but they were not painful anymore, started drying out, and I would squeeze out the stuff every few days. My underarms are now clear, but my groin has become disaster the last few months.
I asked my doctor if I could use Rexona in the groin area, and he laughed it off. I went to the chemist, got some antibacterial wipes and stumbled across some antiperspirant-anti-chaffing cream, they had a few different ones ( for sweaty face, for sweaty hands etc.) I got Zo Rub Anti-chaffing cream (says it protects the skin against sweat rash). It has no fragrance, which is probably good.
So, I had to start antibiotics again, and last few days morning and night I've been wiping area first with those antibacterial wipes and putting about pea size of that cream on, AND IT'S WORKING!!!!!! It is looking very calm, not angry red, and it feels dry!!! When on antibiotics before, it would help a bit, but I was still finding area to be slightly damp.
I have done a lot of research on HS, seen many specialists, tried lots of remedies, but nothing worked like this. I really hope it will help someone else as well!!!!

I do want to stress out that I'm on Keflex at the moment, but those wipes and cream made a huge difference
