I've been sick for over 5 years now. every doctor I go to looks at me like I'm crazy when I tell them my symptoms. I just can't seem to get a doctor to diagnose me with anything. my symptoms include extreme constant hunger, weakness, pain in my abdomen on and off on the left side, episodes of diarrhea, light colored stools, never gains weight or I loose weight, episodes of low blood sugar attacks when my blood sugar is not that low. I don't know what to do anymore because I feel so bad no doctor will help me and I don't know what to do. does anyone out there think I have Chronic pancreatitis or something else please help.

I need to add a couple more things that maybe will help explain how I feel more. When I eat I hardly ever get full and eating seems to make me feel worse in a way. I also do get gallbladder pain sometimes too. I do know its my gallbladd Ier because a doctor has told me that much. When I get pain on my left side it can to be horrible crippling pain and only rolling up in a ball would kind of help and it would last for hours. Sometimes the pain is in middle of upper abdomen that hurts and hurts badly to press in that area. I've also noticed my upper left side of abdomen is more firm than right side, if that means anything

    Hi Liz

The symptoms that you describe could be pancreatic in nature but some of the other symptoms are so very vague and do not point to the pancreas but to anxiety. You need to find a sympathetic GP who will send you for a abdominal scan, but you should not tell them what you think it might be. Just describe your symptoms. Cut down on your fat intake and don't drink any alcohol until you get a diagnosis.

My doctor did a blood test. Last September liver results said I had anomalies. My gp said take vitamins and on boxing day I suffered my first attack and it nearly killed me and has left lung damage.  You need to kick off as the gp don't like to get you referred as they have to pay for you to been seen at the hospital.  Sounds mad but it's true my gp told me. You have to fight to get answers even advise them you will goto the gmc if not. Keep fighting for answers don't end up like I did fighting for my life.
