I think i have costochondritis

I am a 38 year old single mother of a 2 and 6 year old.  i have also suffered from fibromyalgia since i was 15 with....knock on wood.. no major flares.. until maybe now.  my 2 year old had to have tubes put in her ears a few months ago and since that time has been super, super clingy.  she would just scream nonstop unless i carried her... so i did just that, on my left hip for what seemed like hours on end some days.  chiropractor told me i slipped and twisted a rib out of my cage from dong that as i felt this knob in my back at the lowest rib.  anyways, here i sit now, and i will tell you i am a billboard for health anxiety and constantly checking body for abnormalities which has driven me crazy and im trying to get a grip.  i dont trust doctors except my chiropractor.  wont take narcotics... I think i have costochondritis.  a few months ago i had this burning in my ribcage and felt like i was having a heart attack  applied moist heat and that helped along with trying to not pick my daughter up so much.  i also have bad posture and sit at my computer for 10 hours a day working.  i think im having a flare today or a muscle strain... either one im okay with as long as i know.  my outside rib cage on side of body on the right feels thicker walled than the left side.  i only noticed because i gave myself a bear hug and felt it.  i know im nuts.. lol..  anyways.  does this sound familiar to anyone?"

Laurie, people often get misdiagnosed with costo and fibro when they have problems caused by food. Doctors said I had them when in reality I had coeliac disease. I strongly recommend getting a coeliac test and keeping a food diary. Good luck

The only interolance i really have is dairy in excess and tomatoes... too much tomato based things and i break out.  i was rear ended in 2013 and since then have had to see chiropractor monthly because i now have chronic injuries that will not get better and i know lifting my 2 year old isnt helping at all.  massage therapy was helping but that gets expensive and of cousre, now im in panic over this.
