I think I have herpes

Hi, 4 days ago I noticed a sore patch on some skin near my vagina, came a few days after contracting the flu. Looks like 2 very small sores that don’t seem to be healing. I’m convinced I’ve got herpes, I feel like my life is over. I can’t get to a doctor or GUM clinic until next Friday! :-( what shall I do!!

What does the sore look like and where is its location exactly?

They started as 2 small spots but now flat, they are quite tiny and don’t look like they could be swabbed they are on the skin next to my vaginal opening

I am right there with you.. I just found a sore around my vagina and am waiting for my test results to come back. My symptoms appeared after a sexual encounter and then me contracting a cold/flu. I’m thinking the weakened immune system is what brought on the outbreak directly after the exposure. I have other symptoms as well so I’m pretty positive it’s herpes.  I think your best bet is to wait and be tested so you know for sure. I feel your pain and confusion though. I’m feeling so depressed and scared. I just want my results back but also don’t want the confirmation that I’ll be living with genital herpes for rest of my life

It sucks doesn’t it! Mine is really odd it started off as what looked like spots and now they are flat and just painful, doesn’t even look like it would be possible to swab them as they are quite small and nothing really to swab. I’m convinced it’s herpes tho! I have all the other symptoms :-( I don’t even know if I want a diagnosis, it’s like I already know.

Mine is very small as well and was never a blister or anything before, just a small circular sore. I still haven’t gotten my results but with all of my symptoms and another sore possibly forming, I’m almost certain. I feel so empty inside. I don’t know how to handle this
