I think I hear the "S" sounds weird, and I feel like I have hearing loss, please tell me why this is

so I'm a hypochondriac and also have very bad anxiety. Because of that I went to the doctor a month ago to look at my hearing. He told me everything was fine, but my eustachian tube is constantly open, so I stopped worrying about it, and it was fine? I guess? but recently I started worrying again. I do kind of think it's because of anxiety, because I hear everything a normal person hears, but it just sounds so muffled/damped. I also noticed I hear the s sounds weird. like when the audio is bad and the s sounds way more prominent. and on electronic audios the quality sounds so much worse than normal. I'm only 14.... and I really worry about it. Please tell me why this could be!
