I think I'm dying

Hi everyone I just wanted some help with symptoms I am experiencing at the moment as I am very scared it is something serious
The symptoms I have are: numb hands, body wide twitching, fatigue/weakness, tripping up and falling over, racing heartbeat, difficulty swallowing and tendon pain in hands, brain fog and confusion. I am very scared as it matches with symptoms of ALS and being a fit healthy 18 year old this scares me, I have an appointment with a GP later but I'm an absolute mess at the moment and really dont want anything bad to happen
Thanks very much and any help will be appreciated

Hi Tom. Try not to worry as I'm sure it's anxiety related. I have had the same symptoms and every test under the sun but have not been diagnosed with anything sinister apart from cervical splondosis which is an age related condition (I'm 49). Keep your appointment with your GP and don't consult "Dr Google". Keep us posted on how you get on.

Hi Tom,
18yrs old is very young and very rare for ALS. Go to your GP and get a referral for a good neurologist . I'm sure all will be well. It's always good to check and receive reassurance . Google can match your symptoms to anything . Be strong and stay away from Google

It is not going to be ALS but a full exam by your gp is a great start to figuring this out. It just doesn't exist in an 18 year old. You wont be the first either.
Listen to the doctors diagnosis and follow thru okay.. The doctor will guide you and if he feels you should see a specialist then follow up on that as well. Stay strong and they will help you. Absolutely request your hormones to be checked. Always a good idea. Yes guys have hormones as well as girls lol. good luck at the doctors.

Get a full check up! Then relax. Listen to your Dr. No it is not ALS to young. If your Dr says anxiety get a referral to a Phychiatrist, best person to treat these disorders. They are medical Doctors who have specialized in this stuff. I was 19 honey when mine started! Thought I was dying of a heart attack! I should be dead by now with the worst senario of diseases I thought I had! I am 62 still kicken . Please get the proper help for your disorder! And keep us informed of what your Dr says🌹🙏 But I bet your fine!! Anxiety Dear👍

Also think Positive ! POSITIVE! Even if you don't feel it. Knock the negative thought out with a positive! Hugs?
