I think i might have herpes and I'm scared!! :(

I've been with my husband for 3 years and we have both been faithful. He was tested for herpes right before we got together so I know he doesn't have it .
Not that I've got that out the way. last Sunday I noticed a red swollen bump on the bottom of my vagina by the opening. I thought it was nothing until a few hours later I looked at it and it turned into a big open sore! It didnt really itch or hurt that bad. I immediately thought it was herpes but I wanted to give it a few day until I went to the doctor . A day or so later, right by my anus started to itch a little . I looked at it with a flashlight and I mirror and I saw a red spot with microscopic little vesicles on it. A few hours later one of them started to grow. I guess it "popped" like two days later. And now they are both healed. Which took almost a week. Like I said they both only itched a little and didn't even hurt that bad. Maybe because I took a lot of epsom salt baths and put a lot of coconut oil on them.but I was too scared to go to the doctor or tell my husband because I thought he would freak out . But now that they are healed I'm going to get a herpes igm blood test tomorrow. Does that sound that gh or am I freaking out for no reason? I'm so terrified that I have it even though I've never had anything like this before. Maybe I got it from an ex partner ?

The IgG test will only tell you if you have had the virus for 2-3+ months. In case you only recently acquired it, you will need to test again in 3 months. I know you said your husband tested negative when you first got married. Was it by IgG? A swab test, in your case, would have been the best test option. It's a pity you didn't get swabbed.

That's one possibility. The other is that your husband's test wasn't the correct one (which is why I asked) and he does have it, but you only acquired it recently from him (herpes doesn't pass with each sexual encounter, so that's possible). Also, was he tested for both HSV types?
