I think I might have sleep paralysis, but I'm not exactly sure

Hey, so I started experiencing something that seems pretty similar to sleep paralysis, but I'm not really sure because of 2 main things:

  1. I'm not really awake when it happens.

Basically, I have a very realistic dream of waking up in bed, and no matter how much I try to move I can't.

  2. When I experience them, they almost always loop. Meaning, I dream that I wake up in my room and can't move, but my eyes feel extremely heavy and I eventually fall back asleep, only to wake up to the same thing.

I read about sleep paralysis and some of the symptoms fit: It usually happens when I nap, especially if I sleep on my back. Normally I don't experience any hallucinations, but there were a few times that I did. I definitely wake up with a very uneasy feeling. BUT, I couldn't find ant information about the looping, and it seems that it doesn't really count as sleep paralysis if it's a dream.

I would love to hear if anyone knows about this, and can help me understand it a little better.
