I think I have Vestibular Papillae, but I am not sure since a little less than two years ago I had some white and kind of read spots in my vagina, I had gotten yeast infection pill to try and treat it some of it went away but not all then I didn’t worry about it then I started getting white discharge since the summer of 2017 and didn’t think much of it but for the last months of 2017 I took two yeast infection pills again and didn’t really help. But now around a month or two ago all of a sudden I had gotten a sort of like looking skin tag my skin that sorta looks like an inflated ballon so I had scheduled an app with a doc but last night I had revived bumps inside my vagina that look Similar too Hpv on google. I have no idea what it could have been until I did some research and I thought it might be Vestibular Papillae because I’m only 16 and I’ve never had any sort of sex, so their is no way that’s it Hpv but looks like it, so I’ve been worrying because I don’t know what it could be.

hey I actually have those same bumps in the picture. They look exactly like the picture and they are only located on my labia minora and vestibule. So a month ago I went to the doctors after noticing these bumps and thinking I caught an STD or HPV . I was so scared and showed the doctor all these photos I took of the bumps. I told him that one of the possibilities could be VP and he said I was right. He said that they are harmless, im going to have them forever, and I dont need any treatment. There is no cure for VP and the only way to remove the bumps is through laser treatment (which can be expensive) or possibly an acid treatment. Both of these options don't guarantee the bumps wont return btw. Im not sure if you are sexually active or not but based on my experience I am 20 years old and ive just became sexually active. I also took some tests to see if i picked up any infections and I am waiting on the results (I highly doubt positive tho). Honestly its very scary to see that I have this condition that is harmless and has no cure and very little info on it. I would reccomend visiting a walk in clinic or doctor and mention the possibility of VP to be sure. I am not having any symptoms with my VP so im very relieved about that but the doctor I spoke to said any type of friction can cause the bumps to come (ex sex, masturbation). The bumps did get worse after sex but most went away in like 2 weeks. So confused but I hope this helps because I definitely felt and still feel kinda worried and a bit anxious/insecure about this diagnosis. But reading articles helped me a lot

      good luck!

Okay so i just did the vinegar test and it said if its Hpv the bumps will turn white if not it's Vestibular Papillae. So i applied vinegar and the bumps didn't turn white but the surrounding skin and vagina did but most of it stayed normal pink skin color. So, I'm super confused

Honestly for the longest time I've been thinking its a bad case of yeast infection. But now as I researched and found that VP is a thing I think that might be what I have. Thank you for your reply means a lot, I am very worried about this.

Honestly I feel like more bumps are coming up so I might change my appt. to go in eariler because I don't know what I have which stresses me out and this is such an easy was you can mix up VP w/ Hpv but in my case their is honestly no way I could have Hpv because I've never had any type of intercourse or other sexual activity so I'm completely still worried because I have been doing research for the past two days and now it says you can get Hpv from any public places which has me so confused because I read a that you can only get it through sexual actives. So I'm so confused and its so nerveracking that i just want to go to the docs asap.
