I think I have Vestibular Papillae, but I am not sure since a little less than two years ago I had some white and kind of read spots in my vagina, I had gotten yeast infection pill to try and treat it some of it went away but not all then I didn’t worry about it then I started getting white discharge since the summer of 2017 and didn’t think much of it but for the last months of 2017 I took two yeast infection pills again and didn’t really help. But now around a month or two ago all of a sudden I had gotten a sort of like looking skin tag my skin that sorta looks like an inflated ballon so I had scheduled an app with a doc but last night I had revived bumps inside my vagina that look Similar too Hpv on google. I have no idea what it could have been until I did some research and I thought it might be Vestibular Papillae because I’m only 16 and I’ve never had any sort of sex, so their is no way that’s it Hpv but looks like it, so I’ve been worrying because I don’t know what it could be.

i feel like i have the same thing. this all started for me with a uti dose of flagyl and a killer yeast infection. ive seen my gyne 4 times since july. pap was clear, negative for yeast and bv. no stds. First he said it was a dermatitis. He gave me steriod cream. bumps are still there. i should say they itch and are tender when i touch them. Appointments later he just said the bumps arent anything to worry about and I have vulvadynia. I have flare ups. espexially during ovulation and my period. I check my Ph and its a solid 4 all the time. I ordered saginil because i heaed it amazing. honestly im over this. i cant have sex bexause all i think about is that its going to hurt. image

Hi I know this is an older post, but I just found it so I know others are too, most likely with the same concerns/questions. I have VP on my outer labia, more like small tears, there are also bumps around it. It's looked that way since I was a young teenager. While researching, I also found out about VP's counterpart, PPP (pearly penile papules). It looks the same, only around the head of a penis. A CO2 laser treatment is used and dermatologists guarantee permanent results. It's not cheap or covered by insurance, but I'm thinking about a consultation. Unfortunately, all of the before and after pictures are for PPP treatment. I think VP is more uncommon, but both are papillae bumps in sensitive areas so I assume results would be identical. I'd love to hear from women who've had the CO2 laser treatment. Hopefully it's just VP so you can decide what the best option is for you. Good luck reader!

Hi guyss I need to tell you my story so you can understand more about VP. After an intercourse with my boyfriend of 1 year and only sexual partner, I developed symptoms of itching which I ignored during one week. Until I looked in the mirror and noticed some kind of papilleas which had the shape of fingers. I also had strange discharges. I put an ovule as I though it was a yeast infection but I still went to the gyneco to be examinated. She told me she was not sure, but though it could be genital warts. However, it was really impossible as my boyfriend has never had anything similar! I was shocked but went to another gyneco to confirm the diagnosis and he was very clear that this was absolutely not genital warts but vestibular papilleas. You can dinstiguish it by its shape : it is linear, symmetric, and only appears in the bottom lips around the vagina. Plus you can put vinegar on it, if it turns white then it is gw. So you need to understand that vp is quite rare but** its within your body, you cannot catch** it however there is a trigger which will make it appear. It can be irritation, sexual friction... But my trigger was a yeast infection, the vp was an immune response. It is itching generally because it is growing but when it stops, you don't feel it anymore. . So, how to treat it? Time... There is nothing you can do about it, it became part of your body. Maybe it will disappear by itself, especially if you treat what triggered it! It has been 3 days now, I am still treating my yeast infection and I can see that it is smaller! However, mine was quite sever as some were long and unaesthetic, so I disinfected it carefully every day, and I pulled it of one by one. It was not too painful, it was like a pimple you get ride of, but I really don't recommand anyone doing this, because I have special medical stuff at home that allowed me to be hygienic and not to create another infection (gloves and strong medical disinfectant as my mom is a nurse). I made sure I did not pee the following hours not to bring bacterias and I will not be sexually active for the 2 weeks to follow. I will tell you for sure how it evolves but please don't worry to much about it, I know it's hard when you have no information but its really nothing!
