I think I've got herpes... help!

Posted , 4 users are following.

So I've got almost every symptom that herpes holds and I'm absolutely terrified. I've read everything online about how to deal with it but I can't come to terms with the fact that I may have it.

Has anyone got any experience on what they do about new partners? Or does anyone know if one person doesn't have herpes, will I still be able to have children?

I'm going to the nurse today for a check up but my emotions are all over the place! 😩

    Hey babe

I'm a 21 year old girl so probably around your age maybe?

The diagnosis is the absolute thing I went through and the absolute worst thing you'll go through, but the Herpes itself will not be the worst thing

What you're going through now, you'll never that again it's never that bad trust me

I haven't had it 'long' 6 months or so but I'm completely over it, I was over it like 3 months ago haha, I don't think about it now, so I want to say that depression you have now goes as quick as it came

    Answering your questions

I'm still with the guy who gave it me and we are trying for a baby so I'm your proof you can have a baby and since you caught this fore you are even pregnant the risk is smallllllllll of you passing it on and that's with a live outbreak during birth, if you have an outbreak or feel one coming yo have a csection simple

women who have cold sores and kiss their baby are more dangerous

I haven't had to tell patner

but my very dear friends have

one is my age and she isn't ready to settle down yet so she has casual sex

always tells them first and never once got rejected her advice was to just come straight out with it, boys are boys they aren't as shallw as girls

my other friend wants to settle down she's told 2 people both didn't really care but they turned out to be f**k boys

drop me a private message if you need to speak to anyone xxx

You can still have children, for sure, and telling partners is challenging but doable, with mixed results. Make sure you get swab tested for herpes and that the test is also typed, so you know whether it's HSV1 or HSV2. The swab test is always better than the blood tests if you have an outbreak with lesions to swab. Don't miss this opportunity. Some doctors don't do it and do the blood tests instead, which is an indirect method, and I don't understand why. If they insist on blood tests, then insist on a swab as well.

To answer your question you will be able to have a healthy baby ! The chances of your baby have to be diagnosed with herpes is none.

My sister in law and her husband have herpes and have the most beautiful baby !

Just if you do get diagnosed with herpes take your antibiotics and meds they will provide you with if not just be safe and wear condoms. Even female ones !

But I've experienced what you've gone thru checked online and i thought I felt every symptom I was just anxious don't believe everything you read online get checked and hope it goes great !!!!!

If you plan to have a baby my blessings to you and your partner !
