Hi guys
Im having heart syptoms since like october. First it started with palpitations. My heartbeat is around 80-90 but it used to be so hard, i could see my heartbeat on my stomach, feel it on my neck, head, butt, fingers.. couldnt sleep. I one day went to a hospital after my parents called an ambulance for me. My heartbeat was fast and my hand was tingly. I got 4 ekgs in 2 months, holter monitor (of course felt like everything was ok when I had it so it came back normal) and thats all. I got betablockers, it got better in like a month and then I have felt stabbing and pain in between my upper back, my rib cage and chest. I also feel this sinking feeling, like my heart stops for a moment, like a second, i start to suffocate, i have to caugh and then its good... it happens all the time for 2 days now. And always when i breathe in i get a stab in my back and like left side rib cage. Im also out of breath all the time. Walk up the stairs and im out of breath.. i have had heart problems when I was 11, all of the sudden i started having insane tachycardia for like an hour for no reason.. been to cardiologist, he made blood work, ekg and ultrasound, nothing. Now i only had ekgs and the holter. TIm very afraid im going to die.

If you think you're having a heart attack go to the hospital don't second guess that

Shes already been evaluated & her symptoms are caysed by anxiety. Ahes been to a cardiologist already & had tests done. There were no heart problems detected. You don't just up & have a heart attack. Her mind is going to make her feel like she's having a heart attack when she's not. If she foes to the hospital again, they're going yo run a ekg & do blood tests. Sometging that she's already had. Going to the hospital won't do anything. She needs to calm down & realize it's just an anxiety attack.

You're probably correct, but she has stated she had heart problems in the past. I'd go everytime I had a symptom of I were her. And if it is just anxiety they need to help her. Doctors just blow off anxiety and it's not right

Yes she has had heart problems IN THE PAST. She's had tests most recently & nothing was found. Yes doctors like to blow it off anxiety. But if you've had tests what is the problem? You can't go everytime you think something is wrong. They're just going to run the same old tests over & over & find nothing. What's the point? She needa to see a psychiatrist & go to cognitive behavior therapy for relief from this. Because clearly it's psychological based upon the tests.

Why would you be afraid that you're going to die after your symptoms have been evaluated? If there was no physical causes of your symptoms, then it's psychological. Anxiety. It cause a multitude of symptoms.
I understand that your symptoms are very physical & are hard to ignore because i experienced your same fear & frustration & im only 16. My you need to realize that you've had the tests. They are normal & you are healthy.
The more you sit & panic the more your symptoms be defined. & Also the longer they last. I feel my heart beat in my stomach all the time. That's where your abdominal arota is. When your stressed your blood pressure rises & my also cause symptoms. Try to vslm down.
Remember that your symptoms have been evaluated by a doctor & there is nothing wrong. Illness or not live your life to the fullest & be the best you can be. We all die don't waste your time worrying about something you can't control. Your symptoms are not killing you. You're okay. I wish you the best of luck.
God Bless ?.

Noo problem. But I got over it. Because I knew nothing was wrong. You may have had the tests 7 years ago BUT you've been recently going to the hospital multiple times. If you feel that scared, sometimes you have to learn yourself. Eventually you'll get tired of worrying about this. But it will pass you just have to have faith & believe that you are okay.

It sounds like your Anxiety and your problem is the need for test to confirm you are ok. You need to have words again with your GP and suggest if your problem is stress related, if this is the case you need a course of CPT and also learn how to relax and calm yourself down. Mindfulness Relaxation Technique may help, also Breathing Techniques, both can be found on the internet.
They may also ask you why you are feeling the way you do, are there any problems at work like a stressfl environment or are you studying hard for examinations.
One thing that may concern is the number of Medical Tests and procedures you are having, when push comes to shove excessive testing, or taking regular same tests can be counterproductive, can cause health problems and are expensive. It would seem your heart is ok and you need to consider your condition and look for other treatments. Could it be indigestion ?? Serious. It is a stress or anxiety, and may benefit from some medication.
Your GP will suggest a different pathway, try and allow that to happen.

I've had similar symptoms. I went to urgent care twice because if chest pain and that feeling you described where you feel like your heart missed a beat and you have to cough. I was told it's all anxiety. I have a doctor's appointment in five days and am going to ask for testing to be sure. I hope you feel better.
