I think my Ex is depressed

hi everyone. i have never posted on anything like this before but i really need some help.. my girlfriend (now ex) and mother of my child walked out on me 8 weeks ago and took our 1 year old son and her 6 year old son to live in a new home.. the last 2 months we lived together were awful, she would not talk to me, made me feel completly invisible and was as if she turned to stone.. all this started 2 weeks after she returned to work after peternity leave.. all her symptoms lead me to think shes depressed (not sleeping, eating, no empathy or emotions, jackal and hyde behaviour), and i am completly at a loss as to what to do.. she will not talk to me at all about anything unless its about our son.. i really cant cope with this.....

    I'd talk face to face. It does sound like maybe she's depressed but without sounding harsh it could be that she wants to move on. Ur the best judge to how shes changed etc maybe talk to her parents

      She is putting up a front to everyone but is a completely different person when it's just me and her!!! I think her family know what's goin on but are hiding it from me. Like its history repeating itself.

    Hi Ciaran, I am sorry what your going through. I suggest you get some advice from a doctor to help your ex. Hope it helps

      I tried talking to her before she left but all she would say is will you please let me do this,I know I can do this!!! Told me "you know I love you" and hopes we can get back together down the line!!!!! I've lost everything and I do I what to do.

      What has she been like since the birth of your son ? Iv got postnatal depression and it sounds very much like me now and how I was after my other baby too. Did she arrange a new house behide ur back ?

      i didn't notice any change at the time but looking back now she started spending more and more time at her mums. She didn't let me spend much time with our son unless it was in her company. Yes she got a new house behind my back and kept pushing me away. When I tried to talk to her it was if she wasn't even listening and as if her eyes were filled with smoke.
