I think this is ETD, making me anxious, can anyone confirm?

Long time listener, first time caller.

I've had worries about my ears for years. I get moments where my ear feels clogged and then proceeds to get a high pitched squeal and sometimes this is more of a hum like a tuning fork. Sometimes these pressure change sensations would be accompanied by dizziness or a sense that my horizon had shifted. these worst ones have the horizon shifting and a really intense hum in my head. but it always passes in seconds.

Oddly i may feel the pressure shifting in my left ear but it is my right that gets the hum.

It has caused me anxiety for years - a sort of fear that when an episode struck that either the dizziness or humming would remain - but it was relatively intermittent.

However, after getting covid these pressure warps and associated humming have become more frequent. Every swallow also feels like i am clearing my ears. They will feel blocked for a while then clear and then back again. Both ears are experiencing it.

I have also experienced sort of ticking sounds in my ears. Again, this comes and goes.

I got my ears cleaned and there was no issue with wax build up. Clean as a whistle.

Wondering if this sounds like ETD and has anyone had the pressure changes and humming/ringing? Is this something to see a doctor about or go straight to an ENT specialist? Any advice gratefully received.
