I thought I was on the mend.. driving me mad!

I recently posted a few weeks ago about a rash on my foreskin, it was actually 4/5 small cuts and inflammation as i looked closely at it.

Absolutely no pain, discomfort or discharge. No blisters.

I was tested a while back and cleared of sti's (not herpes) At the time of testing i only had some small red blotches under the foreskin on the right side of my penis.

The clinic thought it was balanitis and offered no cure.

It did go away but re appeared on the left side as a small blotch under the head of penis, then these small cuts appeared and the foreskin and started swelling.

The gp thinks its thrush and have been applying canesten for a few weeks, its not helping at all and is driving me crazy!

They also swabbed the site and no bacteria or fungal found... would they track yeast also in this swab?

Have been for blood tests and awaiting the results as there could be scope for diabetes but am a relatively healthy 32yr old male.

This is the current state of it and seems to be drying out a lot.. i think i was guilty of being an over cleaner of the penis washing with soaps and what not before this all happened (very hygienic person)

You can see the swelling and cuts that ARE healing but still very swollen.

has anyone experienced this?

i have trawled through this site and cannot find a similar example except for cuts on the shaft.

You need the help of a Dermatologist, once the Correct medication is sufficiently applied, such as a topical steroid based ointment is should resolve withing 3 to 5 months

It started making a recovery over the weekend, out of nowhere really!

It likely started to mend because you stopped with creams and cleaning and let the body take over the healing process.
