I took the medication to delay my period as I had a special weekend planned. No obviouse side effects - my period started within 3 days of stopping taken the drug. I would take it again. smilesmile

    I have just been to the doctors for something to delay my period which is due the day i fly out to dubai in july, i was worried in case it didnt work and by then it would be to late. But after reading this lady's experience I am reassured it will work. Thanks:D:D:D

    It was nice to have a balanced opinion. I also will be taking this drug to stop a period as it is due whilst I'm on a long haul flight and a special holiday. I always flood and the last thing I want is to do this on a plane or in a strange hotel bed! After reading many of the negative comment I wondered about the common sense in taking this, but as I said it was good to get an alternative view and i'm definately going to give it ago. Thank you 8)

    I have taken norethisterone three times in the past when I have been due to have a period whilst on holiday. They are fantastic and have prevented bleeding on each occasion. I can only say that I have never experienced the mood swings whilst taking them but this could be due to the fact that I have taken them for no longer than two weeks at a time. Am going away again next week and have already collected my presciption for that holiday.:magic:cheers::wink:

    I have also taken norethisterone for a long holiday and had no side effects. It was great to enjoy my holiday without worrying about unwanted and untimely periods. I started my period within 3 days of stopping taking the drug. I am once again going on a long holiday and will be taking the drug again.:Dsmile:cheers::ok:
