I treated my acid reflux (GERD) with nortriptyline!!

Hi. I had acid reflux for 5 years. Common treatment do not solve my problem. Ultimately, doctors tell me the root of your problem is nervous. I came to the psychiatrist and after treating different medications, I finally got treated with "Nortriptyline".

After two weeks of taking my recovery, I began to counteract.

    I've just been told again it's stress that is my problem can I take you were you taking PPI medication and if do did you just stop taking it or withdrew it sl8wl

    Hello. I hope you're fine.

    I'm not sure but I guess Nortriliptyline is one of those MAO-inhibitors, you should be very careful if you take these class of drugs with other drugs. There are serious interactions.

    Just Make sure you tell your doctor if you're taking any other medicines.
