Hi. You don't mention a great deal about your injury. If you are walking aid free at 16 weeks well done. What does your surgeon say? Are you having physio or water therapy? Have you done too much too early? It sounds like you need physio with home exercises but I'm no doctor. It's still early days and I would rest it but continue with gentle exercises. Have you had post surgery XRAYS to make sure everything has healed properly? Are you young or older ? Your age will make a difference to how you are healing. I'd definitely get back to the surgeon with up to date XRAYS. All the best.

    Hi Mario,

I can understand your problem as I already suffered a lot. The plate and screws in my ankle hurt me upto one year until I removed it. Hope you to not suffer long and recover soon. But if you feel discomfort with implants then I suggest you to remove it after one year. Thanks and best wishes.
