I 've been a patient of gerd and chronic diarrhea what should I do?

Initially I became patient of gerd then I ate esomeperazole for it later I became a patient of chronic diarrhea it has been about 2 years ,all blood tests and stool tests are clear now doctor has suggested me endoscopy, what is the problem with me do any one have faced similar problem??

    I’m very weary of PPI’s, I was on and off a few of them for 3 years. After 6 months, I had a drop in calcium, a couple of weeks after that I had a drop in phosphates, I’ve never had anything in my like show up in my blood tests. The latest one I’m wondering about is my liver/gall bladder issues. Never had bother with them until being on omeprazole and Lansoprazole. I’ve had every type of bowel movement there is, I’m currently waiting on an endoscopy, and yes, I think they probably could cause diarrhoea.

      I’m on omeprazole and I have possible ibs. My dr linked it to my high anxiety but I didn’t know omeprazole could cause it?

      Seemingly it’s quite common to get diarrhoea on omeprazole. Doctors don’t like to admit that PPI’s have side effects.

      Learn something new everyday. I also used to think I’d get sick if I stopped taking them for a day or if I feel even sicker in the night coz it ‘ran out’ to take a half dose. Turns out it didn’t work out that way 😂

    My guess is to just go and get the endoscopy done. Hopefully it’ll show what is wrong.  I have mine booked for Friday never been so scared in my life but I’ve heard a lot more good stories than bad

      Ok do u have diarrhea problem too? Tell ur experience after Friday's endoscopy how you feel and what disease discovered.hope u get cured

      I do suffer with ibs symptoms too. So I could go 2 weeks with constipation then on like the day I have to go out which causes stress it causes my diarrhoea.

      Thanks I will. I’m just so scared

      So Sammy Friday has passed are you done with ur endoscopy ,how was it did u go through biopsy too? Has the reports arrived?
