Hi, it does jot look like herpes. It looks like VP which is normal and normally does not cause discomfort. Are you having any yeast infection symptoms ? Have you been using any type of vaginal wipes or soaps ? They could be causing dryness which in turns causes itchiness . Also is this just on one side or both sides ?

its actually on both sides yea i use soaps and wipes on my vagina but this has been going on before i even used wipes. then sometimes i get sores on my vagina but i havent got it in a while . does it really not look like herpes ? cause i swear it feels like it can be . also what is vp ?

Vestibular Papillomatosis (VP) affects 30% of women. VP appears as multiple shiny 2-10mm skin-colored small finger-like projections symmetrically distributed over the inner labia minora and the opening of the vagina. This is the female counterpart of the similar lesion of pearly penile papule. If it was herpes you be in much pain with multiple symptoms that would make you fee horrible. These dont look like that. When the sores were present was it accompanied with a yeast infection ? was the sores open with red rings ?

im not sure exactly if the sore had that , but the sore was itchy and then it went away i havent gotten another one in awhile , i dont remember in my life ever getting a yeast infection. theres a few times where my lower abdomain has felt in pain so for some reason im thinking it has something to do with herpes. and a few times my discharge came off a little yellowish but not all the time.
