Hi Shelly, I know this disease can be embarrassing which leads to more stress then eventual to more breakouts. My advise; get as much sun as possible. The sun will help in the healing process in so many ways. Second reduce strees, this plays a huge role in breakouts. Anxiety about what your skin looks like or if others look at you differently because of your condition will continue to break you out. Third, take a good probiotic. Good gut health will aid in your skin cell reproduction by improving your nutrient absorption and digestion of food. Lastly, two parts; drink 8 to 10 glasses of water and make sure you are getting enough protein. Both water and protein will aid in cell reproduction and repair. I've noticed when I had brakeouts I would feel dehydrated and skin would feel dry.

I have applied all this to my life over the past year and have stuck by it. The results are I've had little to no breakouts. The scars are barely noticeable anymore and the breakouts are no more then a spot at a time. The Dr. gave me a steroidal foam that stops the progression of L.P. in its tracks. Best of luck to you shelly

Hi, i dont wear any pants, as when i do it gets agitated so i have stopped wearing them, i normally wear palanza trousers, or a dress down to my knee, i am gutted as i love wearing different coloured skinney jeans. I have also found not having alot of baths helps its better to have a really quick shower, not letting any soap go down below, i just put hydromal ointment on it night time. take care.
