Quick question. Is it normal for a person to have constant nausea for months even without medication

I think nausea could be one of the symptoms of overactive thyroid or hyperthyroidism. It may not be a side effect from taking med.

Hi Stephanie, I included your previous message in the post above. First off, it is not normal to have nausea for a prolonged period of time.  How long ago did you have the flu? One symptom of the flu is nausea and vomiting but this should have subsided after your recovery.

High thyroid levels may cause problems with your liver. I would recommend you speak to a doctor who might want to have your thyroid and liver values checked.

Btw, do you have an appointment with an endocrinologist? Is your hyperthyroidism being investigated further?

Yes i have an appointment with an endocrinologist for April. But I'm wondering if I should wait that since I'm constantly nauseous and my right ears hurts

You could make a same day appointment at your local practice and let your GP figure it out. Out of hours you can call the non-emergency no 111 and ask for advice.

I've been diagnosed with overactive thyroid which has grown larger since my last doctor visits in December. A week ago I was told that I no longer have overactive thyroid but my thyroid has grown which my blood work is now normal. I have constant feeling of being suffocating and dry throat

Hi samy I sometimes feel like a pressure in my throat which is so bad plus on and off pain in my right ear. My endocrinologist refers me to a ent surgeon to find if I can do surgery since there is no other possible way to end the pain
