I've been feeling emotionally numb after weed induced panic attack why did this happened?

So last month on February 14th I had smoked some weed and had a panic attack. Now ever since then I've been feeling emotionally numb like i have no emotional reaction to certain things and also my head feels sorta numb empty like or idk . But i don't find anything funny like i usually do I don't feel anxious it's like I'm just calm towards everything I don't find nothing to get angry about I don't find nothing sad so I can't cry and I also can't really feel happy or excited about things. I've been having a little of memory problems to as well and I don't even be talking to people like that no more I'm just quiet sometimes now too. What is wrong with me will this pass in time?? I just wanna be normal again and feel my emotions I'm only 16 years old and I regret smoking weed. It's just feels like I'm calm towards everything and numb HELP ME.

    Hi,

sorry for your experience... I too feel that way.

    1.  Weed’s THC is very high and if you have anxiety or fight/flight fears it will cause a problem.  You would need lower THC strain... if you choose to use.

have you taken any Xanax or Valium type meds (Benzodiazepine)?  Those on and off use will do exactly that.

alcohol is what I call liquid Benzo .. but it would have to be excessive excessive use to get the same effect.

OCD .. if you’re an over thinker, or worry a lot - this too creates a mind that pulls away from society.

fixing this is not easy but steps to take is living calm and peaceful...  yea yea Disney like...  love everyone.  I basically try to “just be nice” ... still trying to be nice to myself ... if someone hurts you, that’s on them and you walk away knowing you have good morals.  we aren’t responsible for other people.

It is going to pass but probably not till your able to let the experience go. Our minds will hold on to symptoms and keep them there. I took classes on drugs and there  psychological effects in college this will pass but I'm going to suggest you stay away from any mind altering drug in the future as you may experience panic again. Now go get a mindful meditation app do it daily, remind yourself daily you are healed from this experience and then stop over analyzing your emotions.
