I’ve been feeling quite off and not sure what’s wrong!!?

Hi guys my names maddy. I am a 20 year old female. I decided to tell my story on here as I am scared and don’t know what’s going on. I think I’m worrying so much about it that it’s actually making my pain worse.

Anyway, So it all started probably about 2 months ago now. I had 2 big nights out on the p**s 2 weekends in a row. I really don’t drink a lot or that often but I did drink a lot both those nights. Both days after these nights, I had this spontaneous excruciating pain  appear probably an hour after I woke up, that lasted about 15 mins max. The best way I can describe it is, it felt like really bad period pain where you get the lower back pain and the cramping but instead of the cramping in the female area it felt like it was around my kidney area. I haven’t had my period for ages as I have the bar so I know it’s not that. I automatically thought “s**t I’ve ruined my kidneys or liver” or something. The pain was in my stomach and back. I felt sick and it hurt to stand and lay down and the pain almost made it hard to breathe. So after the second time I had that pain, it appeared again the next day except no where near as painful or as bad as before. It was just a dull ache kinda feeling around my kidney areas in my back. It’s been kind of a permanent thing since then.. which is about 2 months ago maybe abit less. The pain is always there now but it fluctuates a lot. There’s no real pattern or any triggers that I’ve noticed except most of the time it gets worse after I eat. Anyway so I’ve been to the doctors and had urine tests, blood tests, 3 ultrasounds on my kidneys, abdominal area and my productive area and everything has come back perfect. After all the tests coming back fine I asked the doctor if I should continue to look into it as I am still feeling sick and sore and they pretty much so no and that it’s up to me. I’m so scared and I keep thinking I’m dying.  Googling my symptoms comes up with pretty much every cancer known to man. I know people say never to google your symptoms but I can’t help it!! I just want to know what’s wrong!! (I’m quite the hypochondriac )

So here are my symptoms:

- nausea

- sick and sore in stomach

- back pain and ache

- frequently urinating even when I don’t drink much water

- pain more than often is in my left flank and left side of my lower back, but can be both sides or all of back

- tired

These are the main symptoms....

Pretty much the whole time I was convinced it was kidney related... but now I think it might be to do with my pancreas.

Anyway so I just wanted to ask people what they think and get some advice I suppose.

First off stop reading anything on the internet.   Second find a pancreatic specialist.   Above all else STOP alcohol completely until you are positive it is not your pancreas.

I won’t go into details about my situation but it was life threatening!!!

Don’t let it go but don’t look for the worst.  Keep us posted

Stopping alcohol might not help but it could definitely keep you from ending up in the hospital.

      Take care.
