I’ve been feeling sad since I had a punch biopsy on my vulva, does it heal?

I can’t stop crying every time I look at my left side of my labia majora. I had a punch biopsy done on Monday for the left side of my labia majora to confirm if I have LS. Obgyn was giving me steroid cream, low dosage, but symptoms were not getting better. Finally, had biopsy this Monday but I can’t stop crying. Does this heal? Has anyone else had this and what was your healing time? My obgyn said I could resume my normal showering but didn’t give me any other after care instructions for the biopsy area. This is going to sound so silly but I’m more concern if this will heal as my little piece of meat is missing from the area they did biopsy on. I’m less concern about the results but more on the proper care to make sure my vulva heals properly from this biopsy. 😭

I had one over a month ago and it healed after 2-3 weeks you couldnt see the biopsy spot anymore. Hurt for awhile, but it gets better! Do you have any white skin and were you off of steroids before the biopsy?

HI! THANKS for the response! I do not have any white skin. I get a lot of little cuts and itching in like the labia majora. All tests came back negative for STDs and STIs so thats why my doctor (obgyn) decided we had to do the biospy. I was and still continue to use triamcinolone cream (steriod). I feel better now because it is healing and not concern or worry about the results of the biospy. I AM praying it's not a condition and it comes back as nothing. I go in for followup this monday!
