I've been having a dizzy sensation in my head for a few weeks now

For the last 3 weeks or so I've felt as if I've had dizziness/wooziness in my head. I haven't been feeling dizzy in my vision although when I turn my head it is pretty much a blur until I stop, almost as if my brain can't keep up with my eyes. My eye sight as a whole is great but this is really bugging me recently. Would anyone recommend I get an eye test or would it be more worth while to just see a doctor?

Hi max had this myself since November was treated for an inner ear virus but possibly could be neck related , waiting on physio appointment . Was given betahistine and it took away diziness after a couple of weeks but then I started feeling neck pain , I had injured my back a few weeks before dizzy spells started so possibly my neck pain could be causing cervical vertigo . Good luck its a horrible thing to go through.

I would recommend seeing a GP or ENT.  Google Vestibular Ocular Reflex, VOR, and I believe that you will see what is happening.

You need to see GP first.  Betahistine might just cure it if you catch it before it grabs you.  If that doesnt cure it, then he would prob send you to ENT to see if its ears related.  Def see GP you need to start to get this sorted.

Thanks for all your responses, I woke up this morning and it wasn't anywhere near as bad as it had been so hopefully on the mend. I'm planning on going to see my GP regardless just to be sure
