I've been having pretty heavy lightheadedness for a few days

I went to the ER late Monday night because it was a choice between sleeping off extreme dizziness among other symptoms or go somewhere. Went to the ER. Had a vasovagal syncope episode but the cardiologist and basically everyone else said it didn't seem too serious because my EKG was fine for 6+ hours.

Flash forward to this week. Been having little episodes of lightheadedness, dizziness, confusion, sometimes short breaths, etc. Ive been told a few times this all is anxiety related but ive never gone to a therapist or psychologist or anything. I took 1mg of my moms lorazepam she gave me and it seemed to calm me down the one time I tried it.

Anyone else have experience with these symptoms from anxiety? I'm hoping its anxiety and not brain related. Ive had quite a lot of heart tests (echo, 3 halters, stress test) and they all came out fine.

    Hello

I've been struggling with lightheadedness and unbalance really badly for the last 2 weeks. I have a severe health anxiety and I've been googling my symptoms and this has made me feel much worse. I've also had extreme tiredness and brain fog. Every day is a constant battle with myself and I struggle just getting through each day. I understand completely where you are coming from, I think there are a lot of people feeling the way we do. Its awful.

It's very scary, but it sounds more like high anxiety. Find some relaxation music online and breathing exercises to do, not when you are anxious. There are many modalities on youtube on relaxation. Give yourself

the time and space to do it.
