I’ve been having terrible stomach pain for about a month now

So I’ve had stomach pain and burning sensation in my stomach area as well as my throat and chest for over a month by now. Took prisolec for the 14 day treatment it comes as and it helped for about a week then the pain and burning came back. Seen a doctor and he prescribed prisolec and mylanta because he said it could be acid reflux and I just needed more of prisolec to do the job. A week after I went in the prisolec and mylanta   weren’t much help only providing a bit of relief but symptoms came back almost everyday. I went back in and got blood work done and no infections were found in the tests only that I was low on antibodies that fight against hepatitis which i will be getting shots to help me in and now I’m still taking prisolec and mylanta and don’t know what to do about the symptoms anymore I’ve been watching what I eat since I first got the symptoms been eating lots of vegetables and avoiding acidic foods I’ve read online that would cause worse symptoms but I still get bad pain and burning in chest and throat area. I minimized the fast food intake to almost nothing as compared to how I use to lowered high fat food intake, avoid spicy food at all costs, don’t eat any chips, hardly any meat at all, no candy, no chocolates or sweets, but still barely any relief. Does anybody know anything that can help ?

Make sure to have something in your stomach at all times or else your acid will get worse. You don’t want to get too full, but you also don’t want to be too hungry. Cut out all the fast food until this gets better or else it’ll never improve. Try to get a referral to a gastroenterologist as your primary doctor can’t sctually see your reflux. You could have low acid and if that’s the case Prilosec won’t help.

Yeah I’ve noticed that when I don’t eat or I start to get hungry my symptoms get a little worse. I have cut out all fast food and junk food and been eating healthier than before. Thank you for the reply will be going back to see a doctor again and asking for a referral to see a specialist as in my last visit I was told I would need to see one if they can’t find anything. Thank you much appreciated.

Are you drinking anything that could irritate it? Coffee, tea, anything with citric acid or fruit juices will irritate it. I find a tea called Throat Coat to be very soothing. Plus it has some of the ingredients that are supposed to heal your insides, like licorice, slippery elm, etc.
