The pain in my hip doesn´t go away. It passes from my back and into my groin and doesn´t let me sleep. Up till now I´ve had pains in my legs and both hips but not continuous like this. Has anyone else had this?

I have this problem last time i had it continusly for nearly a month but i did suffer chronic pain from a terrible bout of sciatica which left me with chronic low back pain but i do get it in hips and legs msking me feel wiped out with everything else terrible pain when its in groin too i was told to try just sleeping on your back at night as weight is put on hips when we lay on our sides i find it helps but its difficult breaking the habit of being a side sleeper. I have told my drs and pain clinic but they dont ever seem to want to investigate. Also i find a hot epsom salt bath helps good luck with everything if you find a better solution please let me know my heart goes out to you x

Reading your comment it was like reading about myself! I´m diabetic, have cardiac arrythmia and thyroid problems. For a long time I couldn´t sleep on my right side but for a couple of years I haven´t been able to lie on my left side either. I put this down to being over weight. Because of the arrythmia I have a bit of a problem with shortness of breath (or would that be the fibromyalgia?) so I sleep in an adjustable bed which also helps my hips. I can relate to your problem and hope things improve for you.
