I’m 52 and am so worried after googling symptoms that I may have womb cancer - about 8 years ago I had similar pains and I was sent for ultrasound and was told the lining of my womb was thick and so had a biopsy and was told it was all clear and after this the pains went away wasnt told to do anything and nothing to be followed up  - but now I’m reading that if you suffer from thickened lining it can become cancerous and obviously now I’m getting the pains again I’m petrified that that has happened- I have had 3 children and I haven’t gone through menopause yet - I haven’t had any bleeding in between periods but for some time my periods have been every 26 days still only last 4-5 days but in the 2nd and 3rd days quite heavy and the last 4 months or so I have like a gush and passed clots - I was also anemic a few months back I did tell my doctor about this but he seemed to think this was normal pre menopausal- I have an appointment on Friday but know what’s coming and I am petrified- wondered if anyone else has anything like this

I had that and it was nothing. Try not to worry. I know it is distressing but I know many people who have had similar and it has never been cancer.
