Hello, guys! I really put it short and direct as same as you i'm also suffering from globus sensation, which i knew after several visits to ENT specialist for 3 months. Anyway, the problem with me is that along with sensation there is some build-up saliva back in my throat which i talked about to doctor. but, he took that easy & told me it's nothing. i know i'm gonna defeat globus in some period of time. however, I'm quite uneasy about the build-up saliva & maybe it's the real cause behind anxiety, GERD,,,,,that you knw. so, any guys here who knows about this thing? Really, It would be great relief. Thank you

I also  suffered for two years with Globus sensation. I had excess saliva and an insatiable dry patch at the same time.  I had Nissen surgery thinking acid reflux was the cause.  Globus only got worse. ENT had no answers either as all my tests were normal.  I finally went to the chiropractor. He asked me many questions, adjusted my neck, and I had immediate relief. Eight hours later I was completely symptom free!! He said there are nerves in the neck that affect the muscles in your throat.  Thank God! After 2 years I am well!

    Hi

Perhaps you could in some way view Globus as your teacher instead of trying to defeat it. The sensation is trying to tell you that you need to take more care of yourself, to relax, do something like sport, have a massage, enjoy a nice meal with a friend for example. It is worth a try!

If you're not happy with your doctor's response about the saliva get a second opinion.

    Good luck
