I've been taking 15-20 mg. of Prednisone for over a month for onset joint pain, I need to have more blood test how long should I quit taking the drug before the test! Pain was horrible and sudden. I am active, healthy and not taking any meds. this brought me to my knees, does RA set in that quickly?

I'm sorry to hear what you have been going through Wendy. I would definitely consult with your GP about your blood test questions. I have close family friend who has RA, he is a retired police officer and works with his hands all the time on the side so the RA was debilitating. He started taking a natural supplement for it and he said it worked better than anything else he had tried. I know he's able to use his hands much better now. I can get the information from him and get it to you if you're interested.

I would be very interested in anything natural, I'm a Dental Hygienists my hands earn my income! Thank you
