Thanks. I am a lot better than I was but still a long way from what I'd like to be. Guess I'm also scared of the changeover can't stand the idea of going backwards.

You could also ask the doc if adding asnother med into the mix is possible i onow alot of people take mitrazapine and sertraline

OK thanks I guess that would be an option. Although idea of taking two meds isn't great! Basically I just want the miracle of feeling better without meds. Dream on!

In my opinion, you should increase the dose and max it out before you consider changing med. For exmaple, I am currently on 100mg. If it starts to poop out, I will increase to 150mg and if that poops out I will increase to 200mg and if that poops out, then I will change to another AD. I'm 43 yrs old so hopefully by then they'll have much better meds for illness. But who knows, I may die from natural causes or other illness or an accident before then, or before the med poops out.

You should check/work with a GP but I think it's recommended to max out a dose to see if it works before switching med.

Thanks I see my GP regularly and he suggested the 200 mgs which I've tried but it makes me feel as if I'm spaced out. I thought I would try forum as people here know what I'm talking about. Gp can only try to understand. Thanks anyway

Sneak, spaced out is probably the derealization you're feeling. This lasts for 2-3 weeks and it should go away. It went away for me.
