I've been worried, I really don't know if it calls for worry

When I was younger I occasionally (once in several weeks) felt a light pain somewhere in the testicle area, and in few minutes the pain was gone. Perhaps it's the kinda pain you experience when you perform a little squeeze on the testicle - just for you to understand what I mean pain.

I'm now a grown man 33years though single, I still feel the sensation sometimes. I feel it on the left testicle now, which feels like it's got more weight than the right testicle, telling from the shape of scrotum. I sometimes ask myself, "do I experience this during reproduction of new sperm? ", or it applies to the male gender.

Just last year December I went for a test, Semen analysis which confirmed my Semen count was intact but identified moderate bacteria infection. When my doctor examined the result, he said it was usual to see traces of bacterial infection in a Semen analysis, telling from the result I do not have an infection. I insisted and got Augmentin which I used for 2 weeks.

I would love to know if the symptoms described above applies to other men. Thank you as I get feedback

Hi, I also get pain in my testicles from time to time, and on occasion, the pain is constantly present.

The causes are multiple for ANY man: from the tightness of underwear you use, frequency of sex / masturbation, your posture when sitting and laying in bed.  Do you ride a bike everyday, or do a sport where the clothing you wear is restrictive in the crotch area of your body, for example?!

I get the impression you are looking into the possibilities of what you have going on ‘ in the trouser department ’ a little too deeply!

As, you say you went for A TEST in December:  what prompted you getting this test?  Is there a link between the rest of what you are stating in your discussion AND actually getting the test?

Are you sexually active?  Do you masturbate regularly?  Do you use any restrictive devices ( C**k-Ring) to maintain an erection, for example?

If nothing else I would think seriously about your posture throughout the day, and, the constrictive implications this has on your scrotum and testicles!  Could you sit in a different way to make things more comfortable down there?!  And so on, with your: clothing loose / tight, your posture in bed - is there anything you regularly do that places undue pressure on your testicles, from clothing, regular activities, sexual / masturbatory practices?

Hi Wee Dugie, thank you for your reply. I will just reply your questions.

I masturbate once in a very long time, I have sex only when my lady visits, that usually lasts a few days in a month or six weeks.

I went for the test (Semen analysis) for another reason not stated here. Yes, I sometimes catch a bike. Last time I felt that pain was after 15 minutes jogging in the compound, when I sat to rest then the pain came.

Actually I wear more of tight under wears, I will correct that.

Hello, thanks for the reply.  I think it may be quite common for men to have these 'unpleasant' feelings in different parts of the body from time to time.  If I gave a you a completely different example, lots of people experience back pain from time to time.  Much of this has to do with the way we force our muscles in our back to respond to things like our posture, and the manner in which we lift heavy objects.

With out scrotum and testicles, this is a naturally constricted area of our body - impacted by the tightness of clothing we are regularly wearing, our posture sitting, and our posture in bed.

See if you can identify what else could be causing the pain you experience?  Are you even causing yourself a minor trauma to the testicle region by something you do on a regular basis - perhaps this is part of your sex routine with the partner you have?

I hope you can root-out just what it is that is going on as having painful testicles is no fun .. Good Luck - W.D.

I agree with the first and second paragraphs of your last post. Perhaps I should be less worried abt this, since the pain is mild and lasts less than 10 minutes. Thank you Dugie
