Hey guys Ive been lately very stressed out, also 3 months ago i had a stressful events and i still cant forget about it. I was very sad and i have chest tightness all the time where is sternum every day since August. I have fears and phobias, i cant function normally. I hate going to markets, i get panic attack. I tend to overthink a lot. Everything gives me anxiety, music, television ,movies, I feel upset, excited,my heartbeat is fast. also when i talk i feel anxious, shortness of breath and chest tightness whatever i hear or watch. I'm very sensitive. I hate negative things. Also i get shivers. But forgive me, I'm not fluent in English. And for a long time i feel weak, i lost weight. And i cant walk fast i get tired, feel dizziness and like i have weight in head, i get pain or chest tightness and my body swings left to right. I even have chest tightness now. And i don't sleep well, all i do is lay on bed and walk a little. Maybe that chest tightness is because i fear or overthink. Also my hands hurt, feel like numb both hands sometimes more left hand, and feel like pins in both arms. I have those terrible fears its crazy, sometimes i get this scared feeling when that spot where is heart aches a little. Thyroid gland is also a little larger on the right side of my neck. Are these symptoms normal for anxiety? Like chest tightness for 3 months all the time.thyroid gland is little larger on right side. Maybe my anxiety triggers it. I'm full of fear. And i over think that's why i have chest tightness. Whenever I feel anxious or upset. Its everyday for 3 months. Can't go away. Too much negative energy and thoughts. Also i don't feel about myself not being like other people. Who have work love life. And in that case i get chest tightness

Poor you! you really are having a bad time. Have you got any help for your anxiety? Therapist? Medication?

    Hey 😃

I have been experiencing most of the stuff you have as well. For me it has been going on since the pandemic started and gotten gradually worse. I have had depression for all my life but the anxiety only started back in 2020.

The only thing i can advise you is to speak to a mental health professional, get some medication so you have the energy to work on yourself and eventually calm your anxiety pretty well.

If you cannot afford or do not have access to that, you could ask friends or family, maybe a teacher or any other authority figure for help. Often times people know a way to access medical care or receive according benefits.

Please talk to someone you trust and call an emergency hotline if you think of attempting suicide or seriously injuring yourself.

On more of a personal note, i have been in treatment for a year now and it has helped me a lot in some areas. My depression has decreased a lot ever since, therapy has been helping and my new anxiety medication is doing a good job as well so far. I am still far from being healthy but i am on my way there and i just hope that i manage to survive this new lockdown in our country.

I wish you all the best and i really hope you get much better soon!!

I've been dealing with a lot of what you describe and it is REALLY hard to work through but we kind of have no choice. (having said that, please talk to a counsellor or medical professional as well)

as for the fear of going out and movies etc., i have had that too and still do. it is a cliché but the only thing that will help it improve is going out and doing it (cbt - cognitive behavioural therapy will help you do it in small steps).

i wish you all the best in your recovery: you will get there!
