I`ve got discomfort in upper belly and stool test showed possible exocrine insuffiency from pancreas

I`ve been on PPI for 4 years and now im not allow to use them anymore. I have had Nissen fundoplication and it was sucessful, but my heartburnsymptoms did not go away. One year after i now know that the burning discomfort is from pancreas. Its not directly pain, but more discomfort. Coffee make it much worse. Will this get better when i have been off PPI for some time? Its 2 weeks today and it feels ok, but still some burning discomfort. It also feels like there is some discomfort from Gallbladder-area.

Anyone with the same problems?

I was on Prilosec for about 20 years and I’ve been off of it for about 2 years now.  I still have the pancreas pain.

There was a lot in the news a few years ago about Prilosec and similar seemingly harmful drugs being very harmful.
