I've got permanent dizziness and frequent headaches/nausea

Hey guys!

This is my first post, hopefully the Patient community helps with my problem that I've got for quite a while now.

I'm 13 years old, and I've always had really frequent headaches from just sleeping or making a bit of effort or sometimes just doing nothing and less common. Nausea, but it still occurs pretty often. Those headaches are actually probably a heredity as my dad and brother and aunt got them too. But recently. At about 2 months ago till now, I started feeling this kind of dizziness, where I feel is dizziness and not dizziness at the same time. Everything usually looks so bright like having a cold or like staring at the sun then looking back. And the headaches w/ nausea were more frequent than ever, as only the littlest and teeniest bit of effort gave me huge headaches and increases the dizziness a bit. As when I just lay on the bed even just for 10 seconds then I get up. I feel the worst dizziness. It would be less severe while sitting or standing though, still bad. So by these symptoms, I leave the home less frequently now. I gotta know what I have and how to treat it then we talk about going to the doctor.

Have you seen doctor about this yet? The dr wont be interested in you telling him or her how,to,treat you .  Dizziness can be causd by all, sorts,of things amd you really need to get checked,to rule, out anything serious.

It sounds like your headaches is causing everything.  Please arrange to see a general doctor first.  It will not go away on its own.

Well, yeah. They are. But we're planning to do a blood check soon, I think that would be enough to know if I have Anemia or something. Then if it's major we'll go to the doctor.

Okay guys, went to the doctor. He said it was one of the semicircular canals in my inner ear was slightly deviated/leaning. And he only prescribed one medicine called VerSerc for 10 days 2 times daily after eating.

I searched up the internet. I'm kinda scared it's Meniere's disease as I've read on the internet. What should I do? The medicine increases my vertigo and makes me sleep too much. I'm scared it isn't doing much.

it's basically an Antihistamine, like Betahistane. I was prescribed the latter and it made me feel, worse!   In fact i can no,longer take antihistamines, so,if i  get a bit of hayfever type, symptoms i take a homeopathic one which works and no,side effects!

PS. Have you checked the VEDA website for a proper description of 'Meniers  symtoms?

Pps. If you do have Meniere's i believe there is a specific medication. For it, you can even have an injection that lasts 6 months. Pretty sure it's not an  antihistamine.

I have spoken with the doctor again. He said it's not really Meniere's. But I finished the med. And I'm still like I was. It was 2 tablets per day after eating for 10 days. Did it, didn't really change. What should I do?

I also did a blood and urine and turd test. It was all fine. So it's just all in the semicircular canals of my left ear.

Just for your information, guys. I don't feel any fainting or whatever. It's kind of a dizziness illusion in my head with minimal spinning. But it does ruin my life and a little bit of effort triggers its most. Moving my head is a trigger for that too.

I'd,go back,to,your Gp and say you want a referral,to. Neuro Otologist, who is specifically, trained in not just Neurological, but also the Vestibular

system, (As they both need to work together)  which a regular Nuerolog isnt. (I learned tis after seeing a Neuro, only first!)

I've started getting frequent diarrhea plus pretty much a headache anytime I sleep and wake up even if exactly 8 hours. Also I've been sweating even with the AC on especially at night and my skin is itching me everywhere. Plus of course the original story. What are those symptoms? My temperature is about 37.4•C but I don't feel symptoms of a fever or a cold. Just barely a stuffy nose while sleeping or laying down.

Well guys, (hopefully) final words.. I'm gonna die. Just kidding lol.

So went to a different ENT Doctor. He's an M.D. and he ofc looked in both of my ear with that suction tool and then the normal ear looking tool or whatever they're called. And my throat and nose. He said I got some saliva drought and throat problem (It's all in Arabic so I don't know how to describe it in English) and some sinus problem and finally... OTITIS! In the middle ear. So media? Dunno. He told me not to drink Pepsi or coke anymore. No salty things like pickles and no chili or hot sauce. And to chew gum and eat candy regularly to keep my saliva going and he prescribed a nasal spray called Ticanase (Fluticasone propionate - twice a day)and a Syrup called Maxilase (Alpha - Amylase - twice a day) and tablets called Ambezim-G (5mg Trypsin and 5mg Chymotrypsin - 3 times a day)... Yeah, that's it.
