I’ve had a blood test and now my forearm is swollen, is this normal?

hi, i had a bloodtest yesterday at 16:30pm and i woke up this morning and my forearm has swollen. im not sure if this is normal due to the blood test or if i should be concered?

    during the blood draw, a vein was most likely blown. it should go down within a couple days. The blood will re-absorb. You can try putting on a cool compress to help reduce the swelling. you’re going to be OK. If it doesn’t go down just let your doctors office know. it happens to a lot of people.

      thank you for your reply and reassurance. my anxiety has gone crazy because of this so hearing that it is normal is great, i will make sure to keep an eye on it. i have woken up today and it doesnt seem to have gotten any bigger so im guessing thats a good thing 😃 x

      yep. Some people are just better at doing blood draws than others.
